Terms of Service
Last updated: July 25, 2026
These terms govern use of Electify.AI (“Electify”), software for running political campaigns. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account. Campaign owners control who has access and at what role; roles determine what each member can see and change.
Your data
You keep ownership of everything you put into Electify. You grant us the limited license needed to host and process it in order to provide the service. We act as your processor for supporter data — see the Privacy Policy.
Compliance is yours
Electify provides tools; you remain responsible for complying with election law. Specifically:
- Contribution limits and source rules. The platform applies the limits youconfigure and warns when a gift would exceed one. It does not hard-code any jurisdiction's rules and does not block a transaction — some over-limit gifts are legitimate (reattributions, joint gifts). Reviewing the warning is your call.
- Disclaimers. The platform composes a “Paid for by” line from what you enter and warns when it looks incomplete or illegible. Confirming that it satisfies your jurisdiction is your responsibility.
- Reporting. Filings generated by the platform are drafts for your review. You are responsible for what you submit.
- Public records data. Voter files and campaign finance disclosure data carry use restrictions that vary by state — including prohibitions on using disclosure data for solicitation or commercial purposes. You are responsible for using them lawfully.
Messaging
When you send email or text messages through Electify you represent that you have the recipient's consent. You must honor opt-outs; the platform records STOP and unsubscribe requests automatically and will not send to a contact who has opted out.
Text messaging is subject to carrier rules and the CTIA messaging principles. Registration for 10DLC messaging requires accurate committee information — submitting false registration information can get your campaign, and the platform, blocked by carriers.
Acceptable use
You may not use Electify to:
- Send messages to people who have not consented, or after they opt out.
- Impersonate another person, committee, or organization.
- Harass, threaten, or defraud anyone.
- Use public disclosure data to solicit contributions where that is prohibited.
- Attempt to access another campaign's data, or probe or disrupt the service.
AI features
Some features generate text and images. Generated output can be wrong or misleading and is a starting point, not finished work — review anything before publishing it. You are responsible for what you publish.
Payments
Contribution processing runs through Stripe and is subject to their terms. Metered features consume prepaid credits, which are charged after the work succeeds and refunded if it fails. Credits are not redeemable for cash.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features; we will give notice of material changes that affect you.
Termination
You may stop using Electify at any time and request an export of your data. We may suspend an account that violates these terms or creates legal or carrier risk for the platform.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Electify does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice.
Changes
We will update the date above when these terms change and notify account holders of material changes.
